Bootsie (loves people, but a bully to the other kitties) they all understand each other and tolerate him, he showed up a few years ago and at first he thought be was the leader of the order. it's ok, he fits in.

Maisey, Diamond (Maisey is Maisey, on her own most of the, friendly, but not needy, Diamond is sweet, low maintenance.
Maisey (she fell from the barn when just a newborn, slammed into a cage at the bottom (and she's just fine)!

I love Whitey so much. He is such a nurturer. I will never forget the day Scotchie was dying. He was on the heated pad and Whitey,Willie and baby Buster were all cuddling him and purring in a really low calming purr. I know in my heart they knew he was dying and they were helping him in his transition from life to beyond. I am crying as I write this because it was one of the most incredible things I ever experienced. I felt such a feeling of peace that these cats were creating and I only wish that that is how life would end for all. But that isn't always the case. Scotchie so deserved that since he was such a sick kitty for so long.Even baby Buster was in one the comforting. Whitey is a nurturer....remember when he was trying to nurse the abandoned kittens and he loved them as any mother would. He is a special kitty. As they all are in their own way.

ReplyDeletewhitey is our little angel kitty at dad's. i am so glad our sweet scotchie had the love of his buddies/family as he passed. the low purr all around him must of been so comforting. we know, animals know. that is such a heartwarming thing that happened. though a lump in the throat feeling. pretty pretty pretty peggy sue resembles our beloved scotchie with her gentle ways and soft amber colors.
